Story times in 2017 will start on Monday, January 16th at 10:30 am.

'Mapping Our World' in stories, songs, movement, puppetry and craft projects while introducing early literacy skills. For all young children and those young of heart.

New Story Time on Tuesdays from 11 to 11:45 AM – exploring early literacy skills with stories, song and movement with Carol Birdsall.

Usual story times on Mondays and Thursdays at 10:30 AM are about “Mapping Our World” – come and check it out.

New is also an ‘old-fashioned’ listening center for audio CDs and cassette tapes that invites quiet time. Lots of new audio CD's have been added.

We also dusted off an old time projector with 16 mm reels to show occasional movies. Let us know whether you have any reels at home you'd like to watch and step back in time!

Lego Fans- come and build your own world- & learn about Stop Motion Animation!

Every Wednesday from 3:15 to 4:30 PM.

Snack will be served- donations happily accepted.

Games, I-pads, Legos, magnetic blocks and Do-It-Yourself baskets for free play are also available in the Children’s Room.

The Butterfly garden is enjoying a winter rest!!

Look for a Little Free Library at the playground in the Park: Read a Book - Take a Book! Check it out !

We still have the nature exploration kit with aquatic nets, guide books, bug houses and more available to borrow. Come check it out!

An organization dedicated to promoting early literacy and future school success.

They are a sponsor of Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, a program that sends a book each month to the home of each registered child (birth through five years of age) at no cost to the family. Children of different ages receive different titles; the books are carefully selected and are for the children to keep.

Check our calendar for more upcoming childrens activities!
